Minnie Driver is taking legal action against her neighbor over fears he may be a danger to herself and her young son.
According to a new report, the actress, 45, has filed a restraining order against Daniel Perelmutter in LA superior court after several scary encounters with the 74-year-old man.
In the court documents—exclusively obtained by TMZ—Minnie claimed Perelmutter recently told her to "f--k off and die" and has jumped in front of her car on two occasions forcing her to slam on the breaks to avoid hitting him.

The Good Will Hunting star additionally recounted a time when Perelmutter cursed at her and blew cigar smoke in the face of her seven-year-old son, Henry, while they were attempting to exit their home's driveway. Due to this "aggressive conduct," Perelmutter has been ordered by a judge to say at least 15 yards away from Minnie and her son until their official court hearing next month.

Meanwhile, Perelmutter has asserted Minnie—who welcomed Henry with her ex-boyfriend Tim Lea in September 2008—is the one being unnecessarily aggressive during their encounters because the two are involved in an ongoing land dispute.
