First lady Michelle Obama turns the big 5-0 on Friday, and recently addressed getting older, including whether or not she’d ever go under the knife!

“Women should have the freedom to do whatever they need to do to feel good about themselves,” the first lady said.

“Right now, I don’t imagine that I would go that route, but I’ve also learned to never say never.”

The healthy eating advocate expressed that she doesn’t have any qualms about getting older. She feels “a greater sense of calm and certainty and maturity and confidence” than she has in the past.

Another reason Mrs. Obama’s not worried about aging? She takes care of her body!

“I don’t obsess about what I eat, but I do make sure that I’m eating vegetables and fruit,” she said. “And as everyone knows, I do exercise.”

The brunette beauty has also never missed a health check-up, including mammograms and pap smears, and has even had a colonoscopy.

But despite all of her accomplishments thus far, (before she became first lady, she was a lawyer who attended Harvard Law!), Mrs. Obama is very much focused on what’s to come.

"I've got to keep figuring out ways to have an impact, whether as a mother or as a professional or as a mentor to other kids," she told PEOPLE magazine.

But she can hold off on figuring that out until after her birthday this weekend! Reports are saying that the president is planning a big dance party for his wife on Saturday that is sure to get the White House rockin'! Wait, where’s our invite?
