Michael Douglas' son Cameron is enjoying his fresh start after being released from prison last month following a six-year sentence.
"He's doing great, he's really doing amazing actually," his close friend, Noel Ashman, revealed to People. "He's working out every day, he's got a great attitude. I think he's doing as good as anyone could imagine."
Back in 2010, the 37-year-old was sentenced to five years for possession of heroin and selling methamphetamines, which was later extended when he confessed to smuggling drugs into jail. He was released two years early and is currently living in a halfway house in NYC.

"He's incredibly grateful. He's just very happy to be out [of prison] and to be doing things he loves and with people he loves – he's very happy overall," Ashman continued.

The Ant-Man star and his son remained "close" throughout his time away. "He's spending a lot of time with his family and his friends trying to catch up for lost time," Ashman added.
We're glad to see Cameron doing so well!
