Meredith Vieira may have been the original moderator of ABC's talk show The View, but that doesn't mean she misses her gig on the co-hosts panel!
“No [I don’t miss it],” the former Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host told Page Six during a new interview. “I miss my friends, but... it’s changed a lot. I’ll always care about [the show], but for me it was time to try something different.”

According to a report, The View recently offered Gwyneth Paltrow a million dollar contract to help save the show from being axed from the small screen. Meredith, 61—who now hosts her own talk show, The Meredith Vieira Show—also admitted she stresses about her own show being canceled one day.

“It’s hard when you do syndication,” she continued. “I don’t have the luxury of having years to do it anymore. I feel like I’m always watching the clock with anxiety. You never know when they might say, well, we’ve run out of time for you.”

Rosie joined The View as a co-host and moderator for the show's 10th season in September 2006. In April 2007, she announced she was leaving the program after just one season. In 2014 it was revealed Rosie would return to the show for its 18th season, but she again only lasted one season and left in February 2015.
