While appearing on 'The Meredith Vieira Show,' Stacey Dash shared some strong opinions on women's wage equality with host Meredith Vieira — leading their conversation to quickly turn into a tense debate.
"I feel like it's an excuse. It's the same thing with race. It's an excuse. Stop making excuses," the actress, 48, said of her opposition to female stars speaking out about pay inequality between genders.

Meredith, 61, countered Stacey's claims by stating women are fighting an "uphill battle" with the current pay gap because females are still paid only 78 cents per dollar a man earns in the workplace.
"At the rate we're going, my daughter, who's 22, will be 65 when there's finally pay equality. There's something wrong, something clearly wrong," the former 'Today' host said to her guest.

"I don't know if that's true... I feel like your daughter will be able to make as much money as she wants in her life. Just like you are — I mean, look at you," Stacey continued, to which Meredith replied, "I am successful, but it took me a long time... and for many years, I was not paid as much as the guys."

"I guess I won't put my fate into anything other than my own action, and taking my destiny in my hands," Stacey continued. "I will not be a victim."
"I'm not saying I'm a victim," Meredith interjected. "I'm pissed off."
The 'Clueless' alum, who's known for making controversial statements, tried to prove her point by explaining there's a passed law that says women do get equal pay — which didn't sit well with the host.
