Nearly one year after Joan Rivers' untimely death at age 81, the comedienne's daughter, Melissa Rivers, is opening up about where she scattered her late mother's ashes following her passing.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 47-year-old Fashion Police star revealed she and her son, Cooper, 14, spread Joan's ashes at the family's favorite vacation spot in Wyoming.
"Coop and I took our annual family vacation to Wyoming. [The] first without my mom and scattered some of her ashes there so we can still be together every August as a family," Melissa said.

Joan sadly passed away on Sept. 4, 2014 from cardiac arrest after undergoing a routine throat surgery. When asked how she and Cooper will spend the one year anniversary of her mother's passing, Melissa confessed they are looking forward to a low-key day.

"Everyone expects me to have this big grand plan for the 4th and I am just going to be spending it with my son," she said. "He is going to go to school, I am going to go to work and come home, light a candle, and have a glass of wine."
"Cooper and I talk about what would be the best way to honor her legacy and the best way to honor her legacy is to be okay," Melissa added.
