There may not have been an official engagement announcement yet, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s flourishing love seems to be manifesting in the very practical step of moving in together. The couple has apparently been house-hunting around the ridiculously British-sounding area of Oxfordshire, particularly the posh Cotswold hills. A royal insider recently told the Daily Mail that Harry has a soft spot for the town thanks to his dad living in the same area. “He is searching for a new home in the area,” the friend revealed.

“Before Meghan, he was vaguely looking in Norfolk but didn’t find what he wanted. Now, with her input, he’s renewed his search,” the source added. Another local who knows the royal family said, “It’s not surprising that Harry would like to live where he feels at home.”

“He’s lived in the Cotswolds all his life and often returns to visit his father. After his mother died, it became a place of sanctuary. When the boys entered their teens, Charles bought several homes in the area, thinking they might want one in the future,” the insider continued. The couple would be in good company — just an hour from London, the lush countryside already hosts the Beckhams, Kate Moss, Lily Allen, and Stella McCartney.

Meanwhile, new reports have surfaced claiming that Meghan will not be signing on for the next season of Suits and it’s being called the biggest engagement hint yet. Meghan has been dating Harry, 33, for a year now, and the world is watching her left hand with baited breath. Meghan, 36, is said to be filming her final Suits scenes in Canada next month.
