Rest in peace, Carrie Fisher.
Following the iconic actress' death on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at age 60, Carrie's friends and fans took to social media to pay tribute to the late star.
"Carrie was one-of-a-kind... brilliant, original," her Star Wars co-star Harrison Ford said in a statement. "Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life, bravely."
"We will all miss her," the 74-year-old actor continued.

Harrison and Carrie starred as Han Solo and Princess Leia, respectively, in four Star Wars films together: Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope (1977), Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).
Mark Hamill — who portrayed Luke Skywalker alongside Carrie and Harrison in the Star Wars films — similarly spoke out about the late actress following her sudden passing.

"It’s never easy to lose such a vital, irreplaceable member of the family, but this is downright heartbreaking. Carrie was one-of-a-kind who belonged to us all — whether she liked it or not," he wrote on Twitter.
"She was our princess, damn it, and the actress who played her blurred into one gorgeous, fiercely independent and ferociously funny, take-charge woman who took our collective breath away. Determined and tough, but with a vulnerability that made you root for her and want her to succeed and be happy," Mark, 65, continued.

Carrie died earlier this week after suffering a heart attack during a flight from London to LA on Friday, Dec. 23. The actress' only child, daughter Billie Lourd, 24, confirmed the news of her mother's passing in a statement released by family spokesperson Simon Halls.

"It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning," the message began.
"She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers," the statement read.
