Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer Gives Birth to Identical Twin Girls - Closer Weekly

It’s… two baby girls for Marissa Mayer!

The 40-year-old took to Twitter on Thursday, Dec. 10 to announce she and her husband, Zack Bogue, have welcomed identical twin daughters — and we couldn’t be happier for the Yahoo CEO and her investor hubby!

“Zack and I are excited to announce that our identical twin girls were born early this morning,” she tweeted about the little bundles of joy. “Our whole family is doing great!” The babies’ names have not been revealed at this time.

Marissa — who is also mom to son Macallister, 3, with Zack — previously made headlines for only taking two weeks of maternity leave from her high-intensity job following her son’s birth in September 2012.

And, according to the businesswoman, she plans to do the same following the birth of her twin girls! “Since this is a unique time in Yahoo’s transformation, I plan to approach the pregnancy and delivery as I did with my son three years ago, taking limited time away and working throughout,” she wrote in a September blog post.
