Mariah Carey is officially joining the Hallmark family!
The 46-year-old singer has signed a three-movie deal to develop, executive-produce, direct and costar in a series of upcoming flicks, the network announced on Monday, May 23, according to Entertainment Weekly. She will additionally pen an original song for each film, the first of which — titled Countdown to Valentine’s Day — set to premiere in 2017.

“We are honored to continue our collaboration with the multi-talented Mariah Carey,” Crown Media Family Networks EVP of Programming Michelle Vicary said in a statement. “It’s rare to work with a talent who can produce, direct, star and also compose original music for a project, and we know she will deliver for our viewers once again.”
The mom-of-two previously worked with Hallmark to direct and costar in the holiday movie, A Christmas Melody, in 2015. Congrats on the new gig, Mariah!
