"Dancing Queen" will soon be stuck in your head again — an entire decade later!
The 2008 hit Mamma Mia (adapted from the stage musical) is finally getting a sequel — so it's about time we learn fun facts about the movie before next year!
For example, did you know the first movie brought in a whopping box office number of nearly $610 million? Or that many big celebs were up for some of the main character roles?

The second installment of the film will be titled Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! and is set to release on July 20, 2018. The plot remains unknown, however, the original movie featured a bride-to-be trying to discover who her real father is while singing songs from 1970s pop group ABBA. According to the studio's announcement, the sequel will feature ABBA songs not in the first movie as well as "some reprised favorites."
Some of the original cast members including Amanda Seyfried (Sophie), Pierce Brosnan (Sam), Meryl Streep (Donna), and Colin Firth (Harry), are expected to return to their roles for the sequel along with some new faces.
