Malia Obama has an exciting new gig!
Former President Barack Obama and Former First Lady Michelle Obama's eldest daughter just landed an internship with famed Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, according to Page Six.
Malia will reportedly start working for Harvey — whose film credits include Shakespeare in Love, Gangs of New York, Pulp Fiction, and My Week with Marilyn — at the Weinstein Company's NYC offices next month.

The 18-year-old Former First Daughter's Weinstein Company internship won't be her first foray into working in showbiz. In 2015, she had a summer job on Lena Dunham's hit HBO series Girls in NYC.
Malia also formerly served as a production assistant on Halle Berry’s CBS show Extant, which was executive produced by Steven Spielberg. She's also reportedly had an internship for an undisclosed fashion house in the past.

Last May, the Obama family announced Malia will attend Harvard University in fall 2017 after taking a gap year. A few months later, her dad, Barack, confessed he was "freaked out" about his firstborn daughter going off to college. "It makes no sense. Michelle and I are way too young to have daughters who are both almost in college now. So as a parent, [I'm] a little freaked out," he said.

In December 2016, Barack then revealed both Sasha and Malia are "ready to get out of the nest" when he leaves his presidential office.

"We don't think they're ready, but they certainly think they're ready," the former POTUS said. "The fact that their parents’ house is the White House may add to it. But Malia's going off to college. She's a grown woman."
