We’re so sorry to hear this. Singer Lorna Luft, the youngest daughter of late Hollywood icon Judy Garland, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor after collapsing backstage during one of her concerts. According to Lorna’s rep, Victoria Varela, the 65-year-old star fell ill on Friday, March 9 in the middle of her show at London’s Pizza Express Jazz Club and was immediately rushed to the hospital by her husband, Colin Freeman.

Varela told People that Colin — whom Lorna married in 1996 — was already worried about his wife after she was “forgetting lyrics and parts of her monologue” during the concert. After Lorna was admitted to the hospital, she was initially diagnosed with a brain tumor, though Varela said more information pertaining to the singer’s health will come as she undergoes further medical testing.

Lorna is the only daughter of the late Judy and Hollywood producer Sid Luft. The couple married in June 1952 and welcomed Lorna that November. Judy and Sid were also parents to a now 62-year-old son named Joey Luft. Additionally, The Wizard of Oz star had an older daughter, singer Liza Minnelli, now 72, with her second husband, Vincente Minnelli.

Lorna herself is a mom to two adult children from her first marriage to late musician Jake Hooker, which lasted from 1977 until 1993. Her son, Jesse Hooker, was born in 1984 and her daughter, Vanessa Hooker, was born in 1990.

Lorna is, unfortunately, not the only one of Judy’s children to have suffered ill health in recent years. The singer’s maternal half-sister, Liza, has recently battled back issues and underwent hip-replacement surgery. However, the star’s good friend exclusively told Closer Weekly that Liza is “in good health” today and is ready to make a career comeback. “Sometimes her back issues flare up, but she’s actually in really good shape. She’s in great vocal shape, too! She sings every day and is the most disciplined person I know,” the confidant shared.
