Oh no! Kelly Clarkson had the scare of her life when she learned her LA house had been robbed on the night of Wednesday, Nov. 29.

She revealed the news to Extra in a chilling interview. “We got robbed last night,” she shared. “Yeah, it was crazy. We got here and our whole house was, like, bashed in. It was crazy.”

When asked what was stolen, Kelly shared, “Materialistic things we didn’t care about. The guy was in our kid’s room, so it was a little weird.”

The “Miss Independent” singer did not reveal whether or not she filed a police report and if they found out who the burglar was, however, she assured fans that her family is ok. “Other than that, everyone is safe and good,” Kelly shared of her husband, Brandon Blackstock, their two kids, River Rose, 3, and Remington, 1, and her two older step kids, Seth and Savannah.

Kelly added, “Other than that little hiccup everything has been really great in our lives, and we’re very blessed and grateful. In that scenario, we weren’t in the house, which is a blessing.”

This comes just a few weeks after Kelly brought her daughters as her dates to the AMAs. While on the red carpet, she opened up about her she balances her career with being a mom (she clearly does a lot of traveling!). “Any working mom’s struggle — any working parent’s struggle — is to balance it all. We do our best,” she said, before quipping: “They’ll probably end up in therapy at some point.”

Kelly also embraces her stepmother role — and has been since before she married her hubby in 2013. “We all live together and everything. It’s so different, but it’s perfect. They’re awesome, and I actually really dig the mom thing. I’m quick to go, ‘I told you not to touch that!'” she previously shared before welcoming River and Remy. “We all work really well together, but I’m totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom. I’m probably that mom.”
