How perfect would that be?! Royal sources recently told The Sun that Kate Middleton's exact due date for baby No. 3 could be Monday, April 23, which is St. George's Day. The annual holiday celebrates the patron saint of England's feast day, so it's a very patriotic occasion for Brits. And, just to make the prediction even cuter, the new baby's older brother is aptly named Prince George!
"There's no certainty with due dates, of course, but the Duchess is working off a date around St. George's Day and it would be a lovely patriotic coincidence if he or she were born then," the insider told the news outlet. If the new royal baby does arrive on Monday, April 23, English residents can expect the date to become a bank holiday, which translates to a public holiday and thus a day off of work.
This spring will be an especially busy time for the royal family. Kate and Prince William will welcome their third baby in April, Queen Elizabeth will celebrate her 92nd birthday on April 21, Kate and William will ring in their seventh wedding anniversary on April 29, and Princess Charlotte will turn three years old on May 2. Oh, and there's a little royal wedding happening between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19 — have you heard that news?!
Though Kate seemingly can't wait to give George and Charlotte a new little sibling, the Duchess' hubby, William, is a bit "in denial" about soon being a dad-of-three. But, a source recently told Us Weekly that the royal couple is, of course, more prepared than ever to welcome a third child. "At this point, they’re extremely confident in their parenting abilities — they’re absolute pros. They didn’t [even] feel the need for an additional nanny. They feel they can handle everything with the same arrangement as before," the insider revealed.
