Prince William and Kate Middleton released two new photos of their two-year-old son attending his first day of preschool on the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 6 — and we can't get over how adorable the pics are!
"Prince George arrives for his first day at Westacre Montessori School nursery in Norfolk today.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released two photographs to mark the occasion. They show Prince George standing in front of the mural on the outside of the nursery building," both snapshots — released via the Kensington Royal official Instagram account — were captioned.
Will and Kate, both 33, announced last month that Princess Charlotte's big brother would be starting nursery school in early 2016. "We are looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery where he will get the same special experience as all of our children," a spokesperson for the Westacre Montessori School previously said in a statement released by Kensington Palace on Friday, Dec. 18.
The school — which is located about 10 miles away from Kate and William's Amner Hall home on the royal family's Sandringham Estate — is housed in a converted chapel on a private road and typically enrolls 29 students at a time.
