Prince George and Princess Charlotte may be getting a younger sibling sooner than we think!

A source close to the royal family recently told Vanity Fair that Kate Middleton and Prince William “want at least three kids and for them to be close in age.”

The couple — who married in April 2011 — previously welcomed son George, 2, and daughter Charlotte, 1, in July 2013 and May 2015, respectively.

Since welcoming their children, Kate, 34, and William, 33, have been keen on raising their little ones outside of the royal spotlight to give them an “ordinary” life. “William doesn’t want George and Charlotte going through some of the experiences he went through growing up. Everything he does regarding his family is very deliberate,” another source told VF.

“William and Kate are living a very private life for royals, and they are lucky to be doing so,” the couple’s friend Ben Elliot told the magazine. “They are setting the foundations for a stable and happy childhood for the prince and princess.”
