In early September, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton revealed to the world that they are expecting their third royal baby. And now, as royal fans patiently await the new little one's arrival, we're rounding up everything you need to know about Kate's latest pregnancy — scoll down to read more!

What is Kate Middleton's due date?

On Tuesday, Oct. 17, Kensington Palace officially confirmed Kate's due date is in April 2018. We do not know the exact date at this time. Spring 2018 will be an especially busy time for the royal family — Queen Elizabeth will celebrate her 92nd birthday on April 21, Kate and William will ring in their seventh wedding anniversary on April 29, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to tie the knot in May 2018!

Is Kate Middleton suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum?

Yes, Kate is, unfortunately, battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness, during her third pregnancy. However, the Duchess has been feeling much better lately and has resumed her royal appearances. She is also now well enough to take son Prince George to school!

Is Kate Middleton having a boy or girl?

We don't know for sure, but Life & Style recently reported that Kate is pregnant with another baby girl! "This has been Kate's dream. She's always wanted two girls and a boy, just like her mother had. It has always been the plan to have another child. Princess Charlotte has such a sweet and easy temperament; both [William] and Kate have wanted another daughter like her. Plus, William loves the idea of him and George being outnumbered by women in the family!" a source told the magazine. How sweet!

Maybe! In early November, Life & Style reported that Kate and William are expecting identical twin girls. "Kate and William were both shocked when they found out," an insider told the magazine. "[Queen Elizabeth] is thrilled to hear that her grandson and Kate are expecting twins." If Kate does welcome twins, it could lead to a history-making change in the royal succession.

Has Kate Middleton picked baby names?

"Kate and William haven’t decided on names yet," a source recently told Life & Style. According to several news outlets, the royal couple's favorite girls names include Alice, Victoria, Mary, and Alexandra. Other names in the running for a girl could be Grace, Elizabeth, Frances, Caroline, and Catherine/Kate.
