During a visit to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) in Norfolk, England on Tuesday, Jan. 24, Kate Middleton was asked by a little girl what it’s like to be a "real princess" — and the Duchess’ answer was so adorable!
“My daughter Daisy asked Kate what it was like to be a real princess, and Kate said she’s very lucky that she’s very well looked over by her husband,” Michala Benton told People of meeting the Duchess along with her four children.

"[Kate has] a total understanding of what [being a mother] is like," Benton continued. "[She] made a comment of how Princess Charlotte and Prince George run off in different directions when she is trying to get them ready."

Kate stepped out in a chic green suit by Hobbs to meet with children and families at EACH. During the visit, the 35-year-old royal also promoted a fundraising campaign she’s spearheading to build a new, modern facility for the hospice charity.
"She was totally genuine, she spent time talking to each family. She made a comment about one girl’s glittery shoes, on their level, knelt down to their level and you could see she genuinely cares," EACH Service Manager Jane Campbell said of Kate's appearance.

"There are no airs and graces, she is totally natural. You can see she wants to be there and see what the families are going through. She is a genuine, caring woman," Campbell continued.
The mom-of-two additionally attended a therapy session with a group of kids as part of her EACH visit. “She enjoyed doing some painting with the children and nearly got some paint tipped in her lap by one of the little girls!” Campbell added.
Closer Weekly previously revealed Kate will spend the majority of 2017 preparing to become queen, which includes moving her family to London from their Amner Hall country home in Norfolk, England.

“In London, Kate will be able to get to official business more easily than when she was living at Anmer Hall in Norfolk,” an insider explained to Closer. “She has always made it clear that family comes first, but now her diary will also be full of official events.”
