Hairdressers should expect a flurry of appointment bookings this morning after Kate Middleton showed off her “kob” for the second time while unveiling a new attraction at the Natural History Museum in London.

The “kob” — which stands for the “Kate bob!” — is said to be six inches shorter than her previous haircut and was the perfect chic accompaniment to her powder blue Preen dress, the first time the royal has been spotted in the number.

Kate’s new hair glow was the perfect accessory, and she chose to forgo any jewelry or a tiara for the museum’s Gala on Thursday, July 13. The Duchess attended the glam event alongside renowned naturalist Sir David Attenborough, to celebrate the unveiling of the museum’s new blue whale skeleton.

Earlier this week, the Duchess floated into Buckingham Palace like a bejeweled goddess as she attended Queen Elizabeth’s state banquet. The exquisite dinner was held in honor of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain.

The black-tie affair — which took place in the palace ballroom on Wednesday, July 12 — saw a huge, 170 guest turn out including royal family favorites Prince Philip, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Kate previously debuted her new, much shorter hair on Monday, July 3 when she stepped out at Wimbledon. So far, royal fans are loving the mom-of-two’s updated ‘do! “Okay, Kate Middleton’s new hair is more beautiful than my whole life?,” one person wrote on Twitter with another adding, “Kate Middleton got her hair cut. You know what that means? I’m getting my hair cut!”
