Recently, Kat opened up about her childhood days as a schoolgirl, revealing that even the future Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t immune to earning a slightly bizarre nickname from her classmates.

Visiting her old primary school, St. Andrews in Pangbourne — not to be confused with St. Andrews, Scotland, where the Duchess attended college and met her future husband, Prince William — Kate revealed to current pupils that her classmates would refer to her as "Squeak."

Where did this particular nickname come from? "Squeak" was actually a nod to the school’s pets, two guinea pigs named Pip and Squeak. Kate, of course, is the sister of Pippa Middleton... are you catching our drift?
"There was one [guinea pig] called Pip and one called Squeak, so my sister was called Pip and I was Squeak," the Duchess explained to St. Andrews pupils during her recent visit.

Little did her classmates know that one day "Squeak" would bear a clutch of royal titles, including Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, The Countess of Strathearn and Princess William of Wales.
