In the past, The Talk star Julie Chen has admitted to going under the knife: but have you ever seen the TV star pre-plastic surgery? During a past episode of her talk show, Julie admitted to a procedure she got done more than two decades ago to make her eyes look bigger after being told she looked like a “bored” Asian American during a TV reporting gig.

“[My parents and I] had a long conversation about if it would be denying my heritage,” she said on air. “You know, my mom calls one auntie, my father calls an uncle… it spread to my entire family. It divided the family. Members of my family wanted to disown me if I got it done.”

“No one’s more proud of being Chinese than I am,” Julie added of her decision. “And I have to live with the decisions I’ve made. Every decision I’ve made… it got [me] to where we are today, and I’m not going to look back.”

Julie has claimed that’s the only procedure she’s gotten done, but plastic surgery experts think otherwise. “For the record, I have never had a nose job,” she confessed. “I have only had plastic surgery done to my eyes that I’ve already told you about.”

Dr. Adam Hamawy — who has never treated Julie specifically — told Closer Weekly in a recent exclusive interview that he thinks, “Julie Chen doesn’t look like she has had any plastic surgery recently.” He added, “However, it does look like she enhanced her appearance in the past with a rhinoplasty to augment the front of her nose for more projection and definition and with eyelid surgery to make her eyes look wider and more alert.”

Dr. Andrew Miller — who has never treated Julie specifically — says he thinks the Big Brother star is just aging nicely and appropriately. “If anything, [I think she did] a little filler in the cheeks. Compared to way back in the day, it looks like she may have had rhinoplasty to make her nose appear thinner,” he told Closer.

Dr. Vartan Mardirossian — who has never treated Julie specifically — says it looks like she “had a refinement of the dorsum of the nose with the help of crushed cartilage or other methods to make the dorsum of the nose more raised and refined. The tip is also more refined.” As far as her cheekbones, he told Closer he thinks, “There is more contour to her cheeks which can be recognized even with her smiling.” Plastic surgery or not, Julie Chen is quite the beauty!
