Julianne Moore On Her Decision To Age Naturally: “We’re Not Going To Live Forever”

Actress Julianne Moore doesn’t have a problem with plastic surgery, but you won’t see her getting work done anytime soon!

In the most recent issue of The Edit magazine, Moore talks about her desire to age without the help of Botox or surgery.

"I'd like to think that I can age as naturally as possible,” the Oscar nominee says.

“I don't want to come out condemning anything anybody does, because I think that all of these things can contribute to making people feel better about themselves, and that's great.

“But I also want to look like myself,” she adds. “I mean, we're not going to live forever. You could be dead at 45, and guess what? Then you don't have to worry about aging.”

Shying away from the anti-aging treatments has certainly not hurt the 53-year-old's career. The actress starred in 3 films this year including the highly anticipated remake of the horror film “Carrie.”

Moore also reached a career milestone that many actors only dream about: her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“It was super-fun, especially since my children could be there, and they’re old enough to really know what was happening,” the famous redhead says of receiving her star.

“I kept joking that I don’t need a tombstone. We all want to leave our name on something, so now that I’m on the sidewalk, I can die!”
