Joy Behar Reveals: 'How I Lost 10 Pounds In Only 22 Days!'

In the new issue of Closer, Joy Behar reveals how she lost 10 pounds in just 22 days — thanks to a diet created by celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito!

“I never feel hungry because I’m eating every two hours,” Joy tells Closer.

Rocco, author of the new book "The Pound a Day Diet," put her on his plan that calls for eating small meals six times a day.

Joy decided to contact Rocco after seeing how he’d helped her former View co-host Sherri Shepherd slim down.

“Sherri came to a comedy show I did in November, and she looked fantastic,” Joy shares of her pal’s 60-pound-plus weight loss. “I said, ‘Let me call that boy up and see what he can do for me!’”

As with any diet, there are days when temptations are hard to resist. “You have to overcome that whole mentality,” she insists to Closer. “If you screw up a day, you have to get back on the horse.”

And her efforts are definitely paying off. “My cheekbones are back, I’ve lost three inches at my waist, and I’m a size 10 now,” she says, adding she’d like to get down one more dress size.

“I’m not at the weight I want to be yet,” notes Joy before adding with a grin, “though at my age I don’t care if my ass is a little mushy!”
