Get well soon, Joni Mitchell!
The 71-year-old singer-songwriter was hospitalized yesterday after being found unconscious in her LA home. But a rep for the star says she's now "awake and in good spirits" following the scary incident.
"Joni was found unconscious in her home this afternoon. She regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an LA area hospital," the rep wrote on Joni's official website on the evening of Tuesday, March 31.

"She is currently in intensive care undergoing tests and is awake and in good spirits. More updates to come as we hear them. Light a candle and sing a song, let's all send good wishes her way," the statement continued.

Though it is still unclear why Joni fell unconscious, the folk music icon previously revealed she suffers from Morgellons syndrome. Though the condition is not a medically recognized disease, sufferers have delusional beliefs that their bodies are infested with insects, parasites, hairs or fibers.

"I have this weird, incurable disease that seems like it's from outer space, but my health's the best it's been in a while," she told the 'Los Angeles Times' in April 2010.
