John Carter Cash, the only son of singer-songwriters Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, was arrested for causing a public disturbance at Canada's Deer Lake Regional Airport yesterday, according to a new report.
The American country star, 44, was allegedly detained after police responded to a report that a man was being disruptive to others by stripping down to his underwear in the airport. While en route, the police had been warned that the man had missed his flight and was either drunk or suffering from medical issues, the report stated.
Upon arrival at the airport, officers learned from security personnel that John was indeed intoxicated.

He reportedly remained in custody until he was deemed sober, and was able to catch another flight home this morning.
At this time, the musician, who has no previous criminal record, is not being charged with disorderly conduct as he reportedly cooperated with police and airport security.
The singer was allegedly visiting Newfoundland, Canada for a hunting trip and was on his way home from the outing when the unfortunate incident took place.
