John Travolta is opening up about his son Jett's tragic death — and has revealed the special person who has kept his family together in the wake of his eldest child's passing.
“Certainly having little Benjamin has been a beautiful kind of glue for us to re-bond after a tremendous loss,” the 62-year-old actor told Good Morning America of his five-year-old son, who was born in November 2012.

Jett sadly died at age 16 after unexpectedly suffering a seizure during a Travolta family vacation in the Bahamas in January 2009.

In a previous interview, John — who also has a 16-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu, with wife Kelly Preston — admitted Jett's passing was "the worst thing" that had ever happened to him. "I didn’t know if I was going to make it. Life was no longer interesting to me, so it took a lot to get me better," he said.
