Jimmy Kimmel is returning to the Emmys stage!

The 48-year-old star took to Twitter on the morning of Monday, March 7 to announce he will host the 2016 Emmy Awards this upcoming September. Jimmy previously emceed the award show in 2012.

"I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday, Sept. 18. Until then, have a great summer," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Former Saturday Night Live star Andy Samberg hosted the show in 2015, Seth Meyers acted as emcee in 2014 and Neil Patrick Harris hosted in 2013.
