This is literally the cutest thing we've ever seen. Every year, Jimmy Kimmel shows hilarious clips on his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, of parents tricking their kids into thinking they ate all their Halloween candy. And this year, not even the TV host's daughter, Jane, was safe.

Channing Tatum guest-hosted the talk show on Wednesday, Nov. 1, and showed the audience the hilarious video of Jimmy messing around with his three-year-old little girl. Watch the video below to see the funny video of Jimmy pranking Jane!

"I have to tell you something," the 49-year-old began. "Last night while you were sleeping, mommy and I ate all your Halloween candy." She adorably gasped back at her dad's remark. Jimmy is off from his show this week because there are colds going around the Kimmel family, which caused his baby son Billy's open-heart surgery to be postponed.

However, Jane was soon more interested that her waffles for breakfast were ready, and she said she wasn't mad at her parents for doing what they did. He then quipped, “Jimmy Kimmel told me to do it." But Jane soon realized that her skittles and Swedish fish were missing — and she was no longer happy.

Jimmy's response? "Mommy ate them. Daddy only ate Skittles, M&Ms, Kit Kats, Reese’s peanut butter cups, gum, and eyeballs and Twizzlers and lollipops." Too funny! Jimmy and his wife, Molly McNearney — the two married in 2013 — welcomed Jane in July 2014 and Billy in April 2017.

This isn't the first funny story Jane will get to tell when she's older about the holidays. Jimmy previously revealed how she ruined Mother's Day one year while they were out at a restaurant. "Jane decided to celebrate Mother's Day by making my wife wish she had no kids. She wouldn't eat, she wouldn't sit still, she had no crayons, they had no high chair… It was one of those moments where we're like, 'Should we just leave before the food gets here?' Because she did not let us relax for one second… We got the hell out of there," he continued. "On the way home, because I'm not a good parent, I decided to reward little Jane for her behavior by stopping the car for ice cream." Can we be in the Kimmel family please?
