The 62-year-old actor — who hadn't attended the award show since 1997! — joked about his attendance at the star-studded event. "I don't know why I'm here," he revealed to E! News on the red carpet. "I'm not on television. My show is on the Internet!" Jerry currently serves as writer and star of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which was nominated for Outstanding Variety Talk Series.

He went on to surprisingly reveal he doesn't watch Seinfeld reruns when they're on! "You ever pull out your high school yearbook and say, 'Yeah — let me relive those four years! That's great,'" Jerry explained. "I do love the show. But when you're really, really in something? You kind of have to let it go."
