Jennifer Lopez Still Believes in Marriage Despite 3 Divorces

Triple threat Jennifer Lopez will be the first to admit she hasn’t had the best luck when it’s come to love and marriage.

But despite three divorces and a failed engagement, the 44-year-old says she hasn’t given up on finding her “one person.”

“I have been married before, I have tried to be married before. It’s not the easiest thing in the world, but at the same time I do believe in it,” the Latin pop star revealed.

“I believe in the institution, I believe in committing to someone and spending the rest of your life with them.”

Calling herself, “a romantic at heart,” the actress was first married to waiter Ojani Noa for less than a year before tying the knot with dancer Cris Judd in 2001, whom she divorced 9 months later.

Following an engagement to movie star Ben Affleck in 2003, Jennifer married fellow musician Marc Anthony in 2004, whom she welcomed twins Max and Emme with before splitting in 2011. Their divorce was finalized just last week.

“At the end of the day, I believe that there’s one person that you’re going to spend your life with and you have to find that person,” the brunette beauty told New York’s Hot 97.

She added, “I’ve tried it with certain people and for whatever reasons that are personal it just didn’t work out and that’s a sad thing.”

The “I Luh Ya Papi” singer claims she’s currently single after splitting with boyfriend of two-and-a-half-years Casper Smart, though she was recently spotted flirting with Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy at a nightclub. The pair insists they’re just friends.
