Jennifer Lopez is one of the world's biggest superstars, but the mom-of-twins acknowledges being a single parent is extremely difficult.
"In the same way that two people are needed to create a child, is also easier to educate them if there are two," the 45-year-old, who split from Marc Anthony in 2011, admits. "When you are a single mom, the only positive thing is that your children are all for you."
The singer, whose own parents are divorced, confesses that six-year-old Max and Emme don't always understand why their father isn't around.
"When the twins cry because their father isn't with them, I always say to them that mine isn't with me either but that doesn't stop me feeling his love," she shares.
And in spite of her current situation, "The Back-Up Plan" star has a good routine going. "I get up at half past six in the morning, and I finish working at about seven o'clock in the evening," Jennifer reveals.
"I stop to cook dinner for Max and Emme and I take them to bed at nine. Once they're sleep, I go back to work until I'm tired."

And although the pop princess is happily single at the moment, she tells France's Gala magazine that in the future, "I will be sure that the man who I will be with will worry about Max and Emme's well being."
But Jennifer confirmed to the Daily Mirror she's done dating for a while. "My friends are constantly trying to set me up but I'm just not there right now," she shared.
"It's not something that's a priority. I have gone from relationship to relationship but, at the end of the day, I am not ashamed of the path I have taken or the lessons I have learned."
