After opening up about marriage and motherhood in a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston set off a firestorm of tabloid reports speculating whether the 45-year-old had a bun in the oven.
The rumors circulated so quickly, in fact, that the actress was forced to publicly shut them down by confirming to Extra: "I'm not pregnant!"
Jennifer previously stated she's fed up that a woman's value in society is based on whether or not they've procreated, claiming she's "birthed a lot of things" over the years.
"I don't have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done," the former Friends star revealed, admitting she is sometimes made to feel like "I've failed some part of my feminism...or my worth and my value as a woman because I haven't birthed a child."
Sharing her opinion with Today Show correspondent, Carson Daly, she continued, "I don't feel like it's fair to put that pressure on people."
In response to all those pesky wedding questions — that come up as often as the pregnancy ones — Jennifer, who's been engaged to fellow actor Justin Theroux since 2012, remains nonchalant.
“I just think you live in the moment," she told Extra. "Marriage is a wonderful thing, relationship is a wonderful thing, it’s a way to discover who you are.”
Today was the first to interview Jennifer ahead of recent pregnancy speculation.
