Life after The Tonight Show has been pretty good for Jay Leno, he reveals to Closer Weekly in its new issue on stands now.

“I don’t miss it,” he reveals to Closer. “It was great fun but I have no regrets [about leaving].” Jay, 67, feels current events have made hosting a late night gig a lot harder. “It was a different time [before] all this negative stuff.”

These days he’s happy to combine two of his passions — cars and TV — into the CNBC series Jay Leno’s Garage. And he insists he’s not racing toward retirement. “I’ll wait until I have my stroke,” Jay jokes. “That’s when I’ll retire.”
