Jay Leno will return to NBC this week to serve as a mentor to the five remaining comedians left on reality competition, Last Comic Standing.
As the contestants face-off, the former Tonight Show host, who continued to perform stand-up regularly despite his long-running talk show gig, will give them tips as they compete for a $250,000 prize package.
When Jay retired last February from Tonight, NBC entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt said he was hopeful the 64-year-old would continue his relationship with the network, which has lasted for over two decades.
The competition, which features Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters as judges, airs Thursdays at 10/9c.
