The son of the late "Three's Company" actor John Ritter has spoken out on Suzanne Somers' idea for a spin-off. In our exclusive interview with Suzanne in Closer's debut issue, the actress shared her dream for a revival of the hit sitcom.

“I said to my husband the other day, ‘You know what would make a great sitcom? If Chrissy Snow’s son was Jason Ritter!’" Suzanne revealed. “It would mean that ultimately, Jack and Chrissy got married and they had Jason. It is the first acting idea I’ve had that has made my heart flutter.”

Suzanne admits that she has never actually met Jason, so we caught up with the actor to hear his thoughts on a potential collaboration.

“I think there would be actors who would be better at that than me,” shares Jason, who was still very flattered by the idea.

“She’s very sweet but I really do think that for a show like that you would need more than just a general resemblance to that man," he says of his father. "I just think there are funnier people who can do that stuff."

The 33-year-old actor is best known for his role on the family drama “Parenthood” and currently has a few films in the works.

So it looks as though Suzanne's spin-off dreams may never come true. What do you think? Would you watch Suzanne in a "Three's Company" spin-off?
