RIPJanet Waldo, the Voice of Judy Jetson, Has Died at Age 96

Janet Waldo, the actress who voiced Judy Jetson on The Jetsons, has sadly died. She was 96-years-old.

The star passed away on Sunday, June 12, her daughter Lucy Lee confirmed to ABC News. Prior to her death, Janet was diagnosed with a benign, but inoperable brain tumor five years ago.

Though the voice actress was best known for playing Judy Jetson on The Jetsons — which ran from 1962 to 1987 — she additionally voiced several other Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters, including Penelope Pitstop and Josie and the Pussycats‘ Josie.
