Just days after reports suggested that Janet Jackson canceled her Unbreakable tour due to a life-and-death health crisis, the 49-year-old singer took to Twitter on Wednesday, Jan. 6 to deny the false rumors that she has cancer.
"From my lips...," the superstar tweeted, alongside a video that included lyrics to her song "The Great Forever” and a powerful note about her current condition.

From my lips…
"Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips," the message read at the end of the clip. "The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I'm recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love."

The late Michael Jackson's little sis previously announced the cancellation of her highly-anticipated tour with vague details via Facebook — it's been rumored that doctors found a growth on her vocal chords, but the exact medical condition hasn't been revealed.
"Hey you guys… Happy Holidays to each and every one of you. I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon," she wrote on Thursday, Dec. 24. "It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring."
