For the movie — which was directed by Jane's then-husband Roger Vadim — the mom-of-three donned a tight black bodysuit and matching high-heeled boots. At the Correspondents' Dinner, the age-defying star channeled the 1960s character in a figure-hugging black sequined gown.

In the years following the action flick's theatrical release, Jane confessed she turned down starring roles in hit movies including 'Bonnie and Clyde' and 'Rosemary's Baby' to appear as the lead in 'Barbarella' instead. She also revealed a remake of the film was once in the works starring Drew Barrymore, but the project never came to fruition.
