Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, are moving their three kids to Washington DC very soon!
After rumors circulated that the happy couple were house-hunting in the area, Washington Fine Properties agent William F.X. Moody confirmed their relocation to The Washingtonian on Tuesday, Jan. 4. The couple currently resides in NYC with their three young children, Arabella, 5, Joseph, 3, and Theodore, 9 months.
The duo is seemingly heading to the nation's capital to be closer to Ivanka's father and President-elect, Donald Trump. The family-of-five is set to bunker down in a 6-bedroom, $5.5 million dollar house in Kalorama, though it is unknown whether the couple has bought the property or plans to rent from the previous owner.
Ironically enough, this is the same neighborhood Barack Obama and Michelle Obama plan to move to once Donald takes office later this month. The families will live just two blocks apart!
This exciting news comes shortly after Ivanka announced she would not be part of her father's administration to instead continue her role as EVP of The Trump Organization with her two brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. There's also an expectation that Donald's son-in-law, Jared, will serve as an adviser to him in some way once he's sworn in.
"I'm going to be a daughter. But I've said throughout the campaign that I am very passionate about certain issues. And that I want to fight for them," the 35-year-old businesswoman revealed during 60 Minutes on Sunday, Nov. 13.

The mom-of-three explained she feels ardent about education, childcare, wage equality, and more work opportunities for women. "So you know there're a lot of things that I feel deeply, strongly about. But not in a formal administrative capacity," she added.
Despite the vagueness of Ivanka and Jared's upcoming roles in the White House, it's clear the power duo will be very present this year!
