Kristine Miller, a film noir and Westerns actress known for her roles in many hit 1940s films, has sadly died. She was 90-years-old.

The late Hollywood screen siren passed away in late 2015 in a Monterey, Calif. hospital, her family confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. They did not reveal the exact date of her death.

Kristine is best known for her roles in 1948’s I Walk Alone — in which she starred as Kirk Douglas‘ character’s girlfriend — 1948’s Jungle Patrol, 1949’s Too Late for Tears and 1950’s Shadow on the Wall. She also appeared on the popular TV show Stories of the Century from 1954 until 1955.

She retired from acting in the early 1960s due to the growing demands of both her husband’s business and her family’s care. She married entrepreneur and television pioneer William Schuyler — who died in 2013 — in 1953. Kristine is survived by the couple’s daughter, Linda Elizabeth.
