Howie Mandel has found himself in some hot water.
On last night's new episode of America's Got Talent, the 59-year-old star praised show contestant Stevie Starr — known as a "professional reguritator" — for managing to make his act of swallowing random objects and subsequently bringing them back up a talent.

"[This will] probably come out wrong, [but] you, sir, make bulimia entertaining," Howie told Starr after his performance.
Later in the show, the actor apologized for his remark on-air. "I just wanna take a second just to apologize. I made a comment earlier, it's live television, I wasn't thinking," he began.

"I made light of bulimia, which is a very serious eating disorder and mental health issue. I deal with mental health all the time, and I did something stupid. I should never make light of it. I apologize to anybody that was offended. I'm not perfect, I make mistakes," he added.
Last night, Howie additionally took to Twitter to again apologize for his statement. "I am NOT perfect. I make mistakes. I sincerely apologize to everyone who was offended," he wrote.
