The future-couple met while filming the 1968 movie The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band. Though Goldie has admitted she had a crush on Kurt when they were first introduced, she didn't reveal her feelings because of their significant age difference.

"I was 21 and he was 16 and I thought he was adorable but he was much too young," the actress said during a past radio interview.

"And then, years later, we met up again and I liked him and I remembered that I liked him very much when I first met him. But we both said we would never go out with another actor so it just shows you never can tell," Goldie added. How sweet!
Goldie, 71, and Kurt, 66, officially started dating in 1983 when she was 38 and he was 32. At the time, Goldie was newly divorced from her second husband, Bill Hudson, and Kurt had just split from his first wife, Season Hubley.
Yes, Goldie and Kurt have a 30-year-old son, Wyatt Russell, together. The actor has an older son, Boston Russell, 37, from his past marriage to Season and Goldie is a mom to Oliver Hudson, 40, and Kate Hudson, 38, with her former husband Bill.

No! In a previous interview, Goldie confessed if she and Kurt had tied the knot they'd be "long divorced" by now.

"Marriage is an interesting sociological thing. If you need to be bound to someone, then it’s important to be married. If you have independence, if you have enough money and enough sense of independence and you like your independence, there is something psychological about not being married because it gives you the freedom to make decisions," she once said.
