Heather Mills has some fighting words for her ex-husband Paul McCartney!

During a new interview, the award-winning Alpine skier, 47, took a jab at the 72-year-old ‘Beatle’ by calling their past marriage “boring” and claiming her former spouse has to stay relevant in the music industry today by collaborating with younger stars.

When asked by Ireland’s ‘The Late Late Show’ host Ryan Tubridy if she ever wished she hadn’t met Paul, Heather quipped, “I don’t really want this interview to be all about Paul. That umbilical cord was broken, he’s married someone else… it’s so boring.”

Tubridy then responded, “I think people are more interested than you allow for.”

“No, they’re not. That’s the thing. When I go down the street, I get kids coming up to me — half of them don’t even know who he is — that’s why he’s got to do songs with Rihanna and Kanye West, so people remember,” Heather said, referring to Paul’s new song, ‘FourFive Seconds.’

“This is just someone I fell in love with who to me was a normal guy that happened to write a few cool songs in the 1960s and a few in the 70s. Like everybody that’s a partner — you fall in love, you get married, you sometimes then go ‘Oh my God, this is completely wrong,’ you wake up, and you move on,” she continued.

Paul married his second wife, Heather, in 2002 and the couple welcomed a daughter, Beatrice, 12, a year later. The couple later split in April 2006 and the singer is now remarried to Nancy Shevell, 55.
