Harrison Ford has hit the skies again just months after surviving a scary plane crash!
On Thursday, May 28, the Star Wars actor, 72, was spotted at Santa Monica Airport in his 2013 Bell 407 helicopter — his first return to flying since his small plane crashed into a California golf course in early March.

"Harrison was very, very happy to be back at the airport. He kept smiling and, although walking with a slight limp, looked great," a source told People of the star, who sustained extensive injuries including a broken pelvis and ankle in the aviation accident.

"He co-piloted his helicopter and flew up and down the coast with a friend for a couple of hours," the source added. "He seemed very excited about flying again."

Following his March 5 crash, Harrison — who has been married to actress Calista Flockhart since 2010 — was admitted to the UCLA Medical Center, where he stayed for nearly three weeks recovering from his injuries and undergoing physical therapy.
