When TV chef Guy Fieri whips up one of his off-the-hook dishes, there’s no holding back on the ingredients — or the fun. And he took the same over-the-top approach when creating the perfect family home in Santa Rosa, Calif.

“I built this house to be a place where the kids could hang out with their pals,” Guy, 47, reveals. “We have a dirt-bike track, basketball hoops, a pool, pinball machines — you name it!”

But the “Fieri Compound” isn’t only for sons Hunter, 19 (now a freshman at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas), and Ryder, 9, to enjoy. It’s also an inviting space where Guy and his wife of two decades, Lori, spend time with each other and guests — including Guy’s parents.

“I built a house for them in my backyard,” Guy shares. “My dad is my hero, and to have my parents so close is special. You’ve got to surround yourself with great people.”

And, when you’re one of America’s favorite chefs, great places to cook! Guy built a deluxe kitchen in the space where the patio previously stood. “It’s the center of the house,” he says of the 900-square-foot space, which features three sinks and his and hers refrigerators. “It’s where the kids do homework and where we have meetings.”
