There are a few things that all Grey's Anatomy fans can agree on — and one of them is that episodes involving planes never end well!
Last week, viewers got a glimpse of what to expect in tomorrow's new episode — titled "In the Air Tonight" — with an intense teaser trailer. In the clip, Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and her romantic interest Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) are in extreme distress while on a flight.

The primetime show is notorious for killing off characters in a dramatic fashion — including shootings, bombings, car crashes, etc. — so it's no surprise that fans are now concerned for the well-being of Meredith and Nathan.
If the new Grey's promo gave you major déjà vu then you're not alone. The Season 8 finale titled "Flight" revolved around a plane crash that ended up tragically killing Meredith's half-sister, Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), and her love interest Mark "McSteamy" Sloan (Eric Dane).

Is series creator Shonda Rhimes trying to recreate history, or possibly just toying with the emotions of fans? One thing is for sure, many die-hard Grey's viewers are understandably concerned for Mer and Nathan's lives.

The show only has four more episodes until the Season 13 finale — and one of the show's stars has revealed some kind of "dangerous event" will conclude the season. Kelly McCreary (who plays Maggie Pierce on the hit series) previously said, "Everyone is in danger. Let's say that."

Grey's Anatomy fans are going crazy on Twitter over the idea of another plane crash episode. One tweeted, "When you thought the first plane drama episode was hard enough to watch... They do another one!" Another added, "Just saw a preview for a new episode of Grey's, Meredith was on a plane... this won't end well."
We can't wait to watch tomorrow's episode to see what happens! Grey's Anatomy airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
