Last evening, ABC showed two hours of the network's new docudrama miniseries, When We Rise, during Grey's Anatomy's usual weekly line-up spot. The show — which includes eight episodes total — will conclude on Friday, March 3.
In the last new episode of Grey's — which aired on Thursday, Feb. 23 — Alex returned to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital after his prison drama only to be assigned resident work due to Dr. Eliza Minnick's controversial teaching program.

Dr. Bailey visited Meredith — who was still suspended from working — at home to convince her to return to surgery (to no avail), and Maggie and Riggs treated a mentally ill patient who disappeared from her family 12 years ago.
Additionally, Jo, April, Richard, and Alex faced a moral dilemma when a mother's only functioning kidney died during an organ transplant to her sick son, forcing the doctors to accept a healthy kidney from the woman's abusive ex-husband.
Oh, and Arizona continued to hide her friendship with Minnick from the rest of the Grey's crew, only to share a kiss with Eliza at the end of the rollercoaster episode — so crazy!
The series' next show, titled "Civil War," is set to air next Thursday, March 9, so avid fans of the long-running medical drama will have to wait another week for the story to continue!
