As Goldie Hawn took a recent power stroll around her LA neighborhood, the actress beamed with confidence. And she certainly has every reason to smile — at 70, Goldie is looking better than she has in years, and a friend tells Closer it’s because she’s preparing for her big-screen comeback.
As the actress gets ready to film an upcoming comedy with Trainwreck’s Amy Schumer (her first film in 14 years) as well as a new Netflix film, Divanation, Goldie is “doubling down on working out,” a friend reveals. “She loves being comfortable in her own skin.”
And her plan is working! “She’s lost at least 15 pounds,” says nutrition expert Lisa DeFazio, MS, RD, who has not worked with Goldie. “Her hips are more narrow, her legs are slimmer and she’s lost weight around her stomach and waist.”

Just as Goldie is an original, so is her workout. The friend tells Closer that Goldie lifts weights in her home gym, does a version of Pace Express (a low-impact exercise routine with high- intensity interval training) and practices yoga.

“She’s never really just committing to one solid routine. Her big word is 'diversity,'" her friend says. “Every day is different so she never gets bored of her workouts.”
