Being a pro football player comes with its fair share of challenges — and health issues.
In a candid new interview, Gisele Bündchen revealed her athlete husband, Tom Brady, has unfortunately suffered several debilitating brain injuries during his 17 years playing in the NFL.

"He had a concussion last year. I mean he has concussions pretty much every — I mean we don't talk about — but he does have concussions," the 36-year-old model said during a recent sit-down with CBS This Morning.

"I don't really think it's a healthy thing for your body to go through like, through that kind of aggression like, all the time — that cannot be healthy for you, right?" she continued.

"I mean I'm planning on having him be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we're like 100, I hope," Gisele added.

According to The Score reporter David P. Woods, the 39-year-old New England Patriots star has documented a plethora of injuries — including ankle, knee, and shoulder damage — with the NFL over the past three years but has never reported any concussions.

However, Tom did allude to suffering a concussion during a 2016 interview. "Concussions are a part of life," he told ABC News. "It's part of people walking down the street. You run, you fall, you hit your head."
